This ceramic pitcher, created in the 1970s by Eva Fritz-Lindner for Karlsruher Majolika, is distinguished by its organic, bulbous body and double-handle design—one side broad and robust, the other slimmer yet equally curved. The surface reveals a deep, saturated green glaze with a matte, subtly uneven and speckled texture, enhancing the sense of hand-crafted individuality. These green tones are boldly interrupted by ochre-yellow graphic bands: a wide horizontal stripe encircles the vessel’s broadest section, intersected by a vertical band that extends from neck to base, both articulated with clean yet organically disrupted edges typical of hand-applied glazes. The neck and handles share the same finish, strengthening cohesion within the form.
