This decorative porcelain wall platter, measuring 32 cm in diameter, was produced by the Chodzież manufactory in early 20th-century Poland and exemplifies Polish design from the interwar period. The piece was designed by Zofia Stryjeńska, a pioneering artist of modernism, and features the 'Zbójnicki' motif—a highland dance inspired by traditional folklore. The central composition depicts a stylized, geometric dancer in regional costume, constructed with bold lines and a contrasting palette of browns, greens, whites, and blacks, accented by red, blue, orange, and yellow. The glossy, glazed surface enhances the vibrancy of the colors and the clarity of the contours, while the rim is adorned with three concentric bands in green, orange, and yellow.
