The Mango Blossom poster by Antti Kekki is an abstract collage composed of large, organic cut-out shapes reflecting a contemporary modernist sensibility. The layered composition features a warm, muted cream background and an irregular central form, framed by a bold burnt orange border that creates strong visual contrast. Deep green, leaf-like motifs curve through the center, introducing a botanical accent and balancing the geometric frame. The surface is matte with flat, saturated colors, free from visible texture or gloss. All edges are crisp and transitions between forms remain clean and harmonious; the entire piece is rooted in a modernist style inspired by Matisse-like cut-outs. The poster evokes mid-century collage experiments, where free-form asymmetry meets thoughtful color balance. The composition is dynamic yet uncluttered—generous negative space allows the colors to ‘breathe’, while the botanical shapes infuse organic fluidity into the graphic structure. The work communicates freshness and openness, referencing the tradition of European modernism with a distinctly contemporary twist. Mango Blossom works well as a focal point on a light-colored wall in a living room, studio, or bedroom. It can be paired with minimalist furnishings in white, natural wood, or complemented by accents in olive green and terracotta to echo the palette of the composition. Displayed in a gallery wall, it combines seamlessly with prints or photographs in simplified forms; in more classic interiors, it introduces a note of modern lightness. Soft, diffused natural or spot lighting will enhance the intensity of the colors and the clarity of the cut edges.
