This Secessionist tray for glasses, produced around 1900 by the renowned Viennese manufacturer Argentor, exemplifies the harmonious blend of metal and glass in a functional, decorative form. The wide, circular tray is crafted from brass and pewter, silver-plated to achieve a bright, subtly warm silvery hue with a high-gloss finish. The centerpiece is a clear cut glass insert featuring a starburst rosette pattern, which catches and reflects light in a multifaceted way.
