The KPM Waldenburg (Wałbrzych) coffee service from 1855–1899 exemplifies the craftsmanship of 19th-century Silesian porcelain manufacture. This 28-piece set includes a coffee pot, teapot, milk jug, sugar bowl, divided serving platter, 11 cups, and 12 saucers. The porcelain, in a warm, slightly creamy white, is finely glazed, each piece meticulously hand-painted with delicate floral motifs in subtle shades of green and pink. The rims, handles, and lids are richly adorned with hand-applied gold, gently worn in places, lending the set an authentic antique patina. The ornate, curvilinear forms—especially in the handles and spouts—reflect late 19th-century European taste, with clear Rococo-inspired flourishes. Each item bears the original KPM mark of the period. The set is in very good condition for its age: the porcelain is free from cracks or chips, while the gilding shows only light, age-appropriate wear.This porcelain set channels the voice of 19th-century drawing rooms: each piece speaks of an era when coffee was a ritual and gatherings at the table were an occasion to admire artisanal skill.
