The Frame OW S wall sconce, designed by Violaine d'Harcourt, is constructed from lacquered steel and a gently undulating, translucent paper diffuser. Its matte off-white frame emphasizes a clean, geometric structure, referencing modernist influences. The central paper element, with a delicately ribbed texture, emits a soft, diffused glow. Proportions of 36 × 42 × 11 cm reflect a minimalist aesthetic, and the absence of visible hardware highlights the purity of the form. This fixture expresses restraint—combining matte steel with the gentle illumination of paper evokes the atmosphere of an architectural model, where light becomes a quiet narrator of space. The subtle wave of the diffuser suggests a visual pause, while the ribbed paper texture introduces rhythm and depth. The overall effect is harmonious and tranquil, drawing on the tradition of modern craftsmanship. The sconce works well as a discreet lighting accent in living rooms or bedrooms, especially against light, smooth walls. It can be paired with furniture featuring clean lines and natural materials such as wood or stone. Complementing it with textiles in shades of beige, grey, or off-white will enhance the softness of the light and reinforce a minimalist interior character.
