The Klepsydra Timber chair, designed by Krystian Kowalski for 366 Concept, is a contemporary evolution of Teresa Kruszewska’s original 1963 concept. This version, finished in a uniform matte black (RAL 9004), is crafted from beech plywood and veneer, with a seamless, monolithic surface that emphasizes its bold, graphic outline. The signature hourglass narrowing at the waist and the continuous, curved backrest—integrated with arm supports—define its sculptural silhouette. The round seat features a subtle indentation, while thick, rounded legs provide both stability and harmonious proportions. Dimensions: 72 × 54.5 × 51.5 cm, seat height 45 cm, weight 5.5 kg. Every detail, from the width of the armrest band to the flexibility of the seat’s weave, has been refined to ensure comfort around the table. The visual language of Klepsydra Timber is restrained yet assertive—it reads as a graphic symbol, with every line serving a purpose. The hourglass-inspired silhouette communicates balance and poise; proportions have been meticulously adjusted for adult comfort.
