TURNER 65 is a pendant lamp designed by Broberg & Ridderstråle in 2021. The construction features a metal frame entirely covered in cocoon material, shaped into several gently undulating, concentric bands. The surface is matte with a fibrous texture characteristic of this technology, offering a slightly translucent effect that ensures even light diffusion. The dominant color is a warm white with a subtle creamy hue. The lamp is suspended from a thin cable up to 300 cm long, complemented by a minimalist ceiling canopy. The diameter of the fixture is 65 cm, with well-balanced proportions and a harmonious, seamless form—no visible joints or mounting elements. The organic lines of TURNER 65 evoke the calm flow of waves or soft layers of silk suspended in air. The matte, fibrous surface lends a tactile quality, while the cocoon's translucency creates an intimate, diffused glow. The contemporary design language, inspired by mid-century modern and Scandinavian minimalism, conveys a sense of poised lightness and meticulous attention to detail. TURNER 65 works well above a dining table or in a living room, where its soft light will enhance the space.
