The PLOPP neon yellow stool by Oskar Zięta for Zieta Studio is a statement piece of contemporary engineering and experimental metalwork. Crafted from two ultra-thin sheets of aluminum, welded along the edges and shaped under high pressure using FiDU technology, it transforms a flat form into a three-dimensional, organic object. The seat and three irregular, balloon-like legs appear inflated, with a highly reflective, glossy neon yellow coating. Visible creases and folds emphasize the deformation process, while small gray pads on the legs ensure stability and protect the floor. Dimensions: diameter 35 cm, height 50 cm. The striking shape of the PLOPP stool is a visual record of the process—a fusion of engineering precision and controlled randomness. The object straddles the line between sculpture and functional furniture, evoking associations with pop art and futurism. The yellow, mirror-like finish reflects light and surroundings, introducing a sense of energy and movement. Each edge and fold is a reminder of material experimentation, and the whole piece communicates boldness and modernity.
