The PLOPP stool by Zieta Studio in graphite-grey matte exemplifies contemporary functional design, where sculptural form is achieved through advanced FiDU technology. The aluminum surface is uniform and matte, featuring a deep, cool shade of grey. Its construction is based on three softly rounded legs that merge smoothly into the subtly contoured seat, marked by distinctive folds and creases. Each detail—from gentle curves to seamless transitions—emphasizes the experimental character of the manufacturing process, in which ultra-thin metal sheets are welded and inflated under high pressure. There are no visible fasteners or joints, ensuring visual coherence and high-quality craftsmanship. The proportions (35 cm diameter, 50 cm height) allow the piece to function as both a stool and a standalone decorative object.
