The PLOPP stool in matte blue-grey, designed by Zieta Studio, is crafted from ultra-lightweight aluminium using the proprietary FiDU technology. Its construction features three tubular legs and a subtly undulating seat, achieved by welding two thin metal sheets and inflating them under high pressure. The result is a seamless form, free from visible fasteners, with an organic silhouette and gently irregular surface. The entire piece is finished in a cool blue-grey matte, with a uniform, satin-like texture that softly diffuses light and highlights the sculptural quality of the design. The proportions are balanced: the legs splay outward for stability, while the seat gently curves for comfort. PLOPP is a statement of engineering innovation and artistic boldness. The three legs converging at the center evoke a sense of dynamic movement frozen in metal, while the irregular folds and creases suggest a softness unexpected from such a material.
