The PLOPP Inox stool by Oskar Zięta for Zieta Studio is an experimental utilitarian object crafted from mirror-polished stainless steel. Its construction employs FiDU technology—two ultra-thin metal sheets are welded together and inflated under high pressure, transforming a flat form into a three-dimensional, organic piece. Three legs, subtly tapering towards the floor, and a slightly concave seat create a compact, balanced structure measuring 35 × 35 × 38 cm. The entire surface is smooth and highly reflective, marked by distinctive creases and visible weld lines that emphasize the innovative production process. Light reflections glide across the surface like water, giving the silver finish a fluid, dynamic presence. Soft, sculptural curves and subtle folds suggest a tension between control and chance—as if the steel yielded only briefly, capturing the trace of creative experimentation. PLOPP Inox stands at the intersection of functional furniture and gallery-worthy sculpture, communicating modernity, boldness, and respect for material. In an interior, the stool works well as a standalone statement against a minimalist backdrop or grouped with other Zieta designs. It can be paired with plain-upholstered sofas, glass tables, or minimalist lighting to accentuate its industrial, contemporary mood.
