The Tiles Door B wall light is a contemporary fixture composed of two square ceramic tiles arranged vertically on an aluminium support. Crafted in a Portuguese workshop, the tiles are hand-shaped and screen-printed in a cool blue and warm off-white palette. The upper tile features a blue field with a quarter-circle of off-white in the lower corner, while the lower tile is split vertically into equal blue and off-white segments. The glazed ceramic surface is smooth and subtly reflective, emphasizing the lamp’s modern graphic design. Indirect, soft light diffuses around the fixture, highlighting its sculptural form and the seamless alignment of elements, with no visible hardware. The minimalist geometry of the sconce references 1960s modernist abstraction, while the handcrafted process lends each piece a unique character. Subtle variations in texture and hue animate the composition, drawing the eye with precise graphic division and clarity. The sculptural presence of the lamp evokes a sense of calm and order, while the softly diffused light creates an intimate, contemplative mood. Tiles Door B works well as an accent light in a living room lounge area, especially against a light or concrete wall. It can be paired with furniture featuring balanced geometry—such as a pale wood side table, graphite armchair, or a minimalist sofa in neutral tones. Consider combining the lamp with matte textiles and natural materials like linen or wool. In interior styling, it complements simple graphic art prints or organically shaped ceramics, reinforcing a refined, contemporary atmosphere.
