The Tiles Door V wall light is composed of two vertically arranged square ceramic tiles, supported by an invisible aluminum bracket. Each tile is hand-shaped and screen-printed in shades of cool sage green and creamy off-white. The lower tile features a vertical light half, while the upper tile is accented with an abstract quarter-circle motif. The smooth, semi-matte surface subtly reflects light, with artisanal irregularities highlighting the uniqueness of handcrafted production. The construction reveals no visible joints, giving the fixture a floating effect on the wall. The sconce emits indirect light from behind the tiles, creating a gentle glow and accentuating the sculptural quality of the design. The style blends contemporary minimalism with hints of mid-century modern and Scandinavian restraint. The form communicates a sense of calm and order—its geometric arrangement and restrained color palette evoke twentieth-century architecture and applied arts, where every detail finds its place. Soft light, diffused behind the ceramic tiles, glides across the wall like a quiet shadow. Each subtle surface irregularity recalls the hand-making process, imparting authenticity and a discreet individuality. This sconce works well as a standalone accent in narrow corridors, stairwells, or as a graphic element in living rooms and bedrooms. It can be paired with light plaster, rough concrete, or natural wood to highlight its minimalist character. Combining it with textiles in whites, greys, or muted greens and simple metal or glass accessories is recommended. In a Scandinavian-inspired setting, the fixture gains lightness; in combination with mid-century furniture, it emphasizes its modernist references.
