The Alky lounge chair, designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli in 1969, is a contemporary re-edition of a mid-century modern icon. Its construction rests on two visible aluminum legs with a brushed, matte finish, providing a striking contrast to the upholstery in vibrant magenta Trevira fabric. The seat and backrest form a single, smoothly curved shell with low, wide proportions (66.2 × 83.8 × 74.2 cm), offering relaxation and ergonomic support. The chair features seamless, precise upholstery without visible stitching or fasteners, reflecting the minimalist ethos of the original design.
