The Alky lounge chair, designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli in 1969, is an icon of Italian mid-century modern design. Its construction features a compact, low-slung profile with a seamlessly integrated seat and backrest that flows into softly sloping armrests. The chair is upholstered in a uniform, matte Trevira fabric in a saturated orange hue, characterized by a fine, tactile weave. The entire form is supported by exposed, light-colored aluminum legs, which provide a subtle contrast to the vivid upholstery and ensure stability. Dimensions are 742 mm in height, 838 mm in width, and 662 mm in depth.
