The Klepsydra chair by 366 Concept, designed by Krystian Kowalski, is a full-size dining piece inspired by Teresa Kruszewska’s modernist concept from 1963. The construction is defined by its hourglass silhouette, featuring a distinctive narrowing at the waist and a continuous, curved backrest that seamlessly transitions into integrated armrests. The frame is crafted from bent oak veneer in a warm, matte finish, while the seat is formed by a hand-woven natural rattan in a light beige tone. Rounded edges and the closed loop base contribute to the chair's visual lightness and ensure stability. The precisely refined proportions and the relationship between seat and backrest are the result of extensive prototyping, translating to ergonomic comfort and a harmonious composition. Klepsydra’s form evokes a sense of engineered restraint and sophistication, where every detail results from deliberate design choices.
