The Plia folding chair, designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli in 1967, combines an innovative folding mechanism with a lightweight, minimalist structure. The crisp white painted steel frame features a glossy finish, contrasting with the seat and backrest made from transparent polycarbonate, which lend the chair a visual lightness. The construction is based on tubular profiles with fluid, rounded lines.
