The PLOPP stool by Zieta Studio, designed by Oskar Zięta, is made from ultra-thin sheets of steel welded at the edges and inflated using FiDU technology. This process creates a three-dimensional structure with distinctive, organic bulges and creases. The matte beige model features three wide, gently tapering legs and a seat with an irregular, multi-faceted surface. The construction is seamless, with no visible joints or fittings, resulting in a pure, unified form free from unnecessary details. The stool measures 35 × 35 cm with a height of 65 cm. PLOPP’s form evokes associations with soft sculpture and engineering experiment—metal is subjected to seemingly random deformation, precisely controlled by the technology. The matte surface absorbs light, while the beige tone introduces a calm, neutral accent. The exaggerated leg proportions and undulating seat position the stool between functional object and artistic installation. PLOPP works well as a solo accent in a contemporary living room, home gallery, or industrial-inspired interior. It can be paired with minimalist sofas, low tables in metal or glass, or monochromatic short-pile rugs. Complementary accessories in neutral colors will highlight its sculptural qualities.
