The PLOPP stool by Oskar Zięta, crafted from steel in a matte moss-grey finish, is a hallmark of contemporary engineering and functional design. Its construction employs two ultra-thin metal sheets, welded along the edges and expanded under high pressure using FiDU technology. This process transforms the flat form into a three-dimensional, sculptural object with balloon-like, organic shapes. The stool features three legs with irregular, soft contours, visible creases, and a smooth, seamless surface free of fasteners or joints. The finish is entirely matte, rendered in a subdued, cool-toned grey with a greenish undertone. The overall proportions are compact and balanced, presenting the stool as both a utilitarian seat and a collectible design object.
