The ASTRO wall sconce (design: Marta Foit, Thoro) is a contemporary lighting fixture developed for minimalist interiors. Its construction features a large, round disc made of transparent plexiglass, serving as a light diffuser, and a central cylindrical body in powder-coated steel with a matte mocha finish. Measuring 28 × 28 × 8.5 cm, the form is free of visible fasteners, and the smooth surfaces emphasize precision and geometric clarity. The interplay between the clear plexiglass and the uniform, matte steel defines the design, which forgoes decorative details in favor of a pure dialogue of light and material. ASTRO emits evenly diffused light, creating a subtle and functional accent on the wall.The sconce communicates calm and restraint—its transparent disc almost blends into the surroundings, while the central element draws the eye and marks a point of focus.
