The ASTRO burgundy LED 3000K wall lamp is an original design by Marta Foit, created in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice and recognized in the YOUNG LIGHT PROJECT. The construction features a matte steel cylinder in a deep burgundy shade, paired with a perfectly flat, circular steel disc in the same color. This composition is surrounded by a large, transparent plexiglass shield with a smooth, glossy finish that softly diffuses the integrated LED module’s light. The precise craftsmanship, seamless joints, and balanced proportions—with the transparent disc significantly larger than the central element—lend the lamp a sense of lightness and architectural clarity. While available in a wide color palette, this burgundy version stands out for its intense, saturated tone, highlighting the fixture’s contemporary character. The form of the wall lamp evokes associations with a graphic symbol or a suspended planet, centering light within its core. The transparent shield creates an aura of subtle weightlessness around the burgundy center, while the play of light and shadow on the smooth surfaces resembles a minimalist light installation. The lamp’s character is restrained yet consistent—every detail is subordinated to the purity of form and meticulous execution.
