The ASTRO wall lamp, designed by Marta Foit for Thoro, features a circular geometry based on a minimalist concept. The main body, crafted from matte sage-green steel, contrasts with a large, glossy transparent plexiglass disc. An integrated LED module in the central cylinder emits light softly diffused by the clear shield. The construction is precise, with clean lines, seamless joints, and absence of decorative fittings, emphasizing the purity and visual lightness of the design. Measuring 28 × 28 × 8.5 cm, the lamp’s monochromatic palette and refined materials make it adaptable to a variety of contemporary interiors. The lamp’s form conveys restraint—its transparent disc acts as a luminous filter, gently blurring the boundaries between light and shadow. ASTRO’s design uses a language of subtle gestures: matte steel and glass-like plexiglass meet in equilibrium, creating a fixture that does not dominate the space but introduces a calm, steady rhythm. The minimalist shape evokes Scandinavian simplicity, while the soft sage tone adds a sense of harmony and freshness.
