The ASTRO taupe LED 3000K wall lamp is a project by Marta Foit, developed for the Thoro brand in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. The construction is based on a central cylinder made of matte taupe steel, housing the integrated LED module. This is surrounded by a perfectly round, transparent plexiglass disc that acts as a light diffuser. No visible screws or fasteners on the front emphasize the purity of the form, while the contrast between the matte body and the glossy plexiglass gives the fixture subtle depth. With a diameter of 28 cm and a height of 8.5 cm, the lamp is rooted in contemporary minimalism, referencing Scandinavian design language. The model is available in a palette of 19 carefully selected colors, offering flexibility for both residential and commercial interiors. ASTRO communicates visual calm and discipline—its circular geometry and the interplay of industrial materials with transparency evoke a sense of lightness and balance. The lamp avoids decorative excess, signaling refined detail and restraint that allows the light itself to take center stage. The subtle contrast of finishes and the absence of ornamental features create an atmosphere of quiet, where light becomes a natural extension of the architecture. The wall lamp works well as a single accent on a living room, hallway, or bedroom wall, where ambient, diffused lighting is desired. It can be combined with other fixtures from the same line
