The ASTRO wall sconce, designed by Marta Foit for Thoro, is a minimalist fixture built from a matte yellow cylinder and central disc, surrounded by a large, perfectly clear plexiglass shield. The lamp’s geometry is strictly circular, with all elements—powder-coated steel and smooth acrylic—precisely aligned. The construction is seamless, with no visible joints, emphasizing the purity of form and attention to detail. The integrated LED module delivers diffused light that passes through the plexiglass, softly highlighting the yellow of the shade. Compact dimensions of 28 × 28 × 8.5 cm and a light weight of 0.5 kg define the model. The form communicates lightness and modernity, while the interplay between transparency and saturated color evokes abstract luminous graphics. The transparent disc lends a floating effect, while the matte yellow suggests a sense of cheerfulness and energy. The lamp remains a subtle presence, bringing a sense of freshness and visual clarity to the space.
